The Master of Science in Industrial Relations program is interdisciplinary in nature and no specific undergraduate major is required, but previous course work in computer science, labor economics, statistics, and business disciplines is helpful.
WVU's MSIR programs is one of the earliest human resources programs established in the United States and is among a very limited number of human resources/industrial relations full-time day programs in the country. Our graduates are excellently positioned for a wide range of management positions, and our program has an exceptional placement record, enhanced significantly by our extensive alumni network and employer base.
Note: Applicants without the pre-requisite coursework may complete the WVU MSIR Ivy Software courses instead. Admission to the program is highly competitive and total enrollment is limited to approximately 40 students per year.

The Master of Arts in Corporate and Organizational Communication is an online program intended for working professionals who want to improve their communication skills and effectiveness in order to be successful in their careers. Individuals who have earned an undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S., or equivalent) may apply, but no specific undergraduate degree is required.
In this program, students will learn how to navigate organizational networks effectively, influence coworkers, clients, and administrators, interact with people from diverse populations, use technology and social media to effectively communicate, and increase one’s communication competence in one-on-one and group interactions.

The Master of Science in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design program at WVU will prepare you for the interdisciplinary nature of the general agricultural industry, whether for research, education, sustainability projects, or even starting your own business.
Positions for employment are available in numerous settings — private industry, education, and federal and state government agencies. Graduates may find employment as educators, researchers, agriculturalists, extension agents, conservationists, or may start their own business. Many graduates also enter professional schools and doctoral programs.
